Big Apple, Small Bites

Some pictures I took recently in New York City. Since I was born in and later spent several years living in another big American city (Chicago), I didn't spend much time in New York checking out the skyscrapers or the famous stores or the real flashy and famous landmarks. Instead I kept my eyes out for the smaller surprises, the unexpected sparkles of wit and charm and beauty, or the just plain unexpected...
